Danish international Nadia Nadim to join Paris Saint Germain.

Danish forward Nadia Nadim has agreed terms with Paris Saint Germain and has officially joined them as their new #10.

Nadia Nadim did mutually agree with FA WSL club Manchester City to terminate the contract in the end of 2018. During the holidays, we have together with Nadia evaluated options, and the most interesting ones was narrowed down to PSG and one Spanish club. Since PSG did show huge interest in Nadia earlier last year, we felt that moving to PSG was the right move at this time.

PSG is challenging the powerhouse of French football, Lyon, and adding Nadia Nadim to their rooster shows that they are serious contenders in fighting for the French Women’s Division 1 league title to the end, and at the same time they also have the French cup and the Champions League to play.

“Im very very pleased to finally be here. PSG have showed interest for a long time, and actually I tought that the interest cooled of when they could not find an agreement with Man City last year, so Im extremely happy it did not. Finally Im here, and you know what they say, rockstars arrives late” Says Nadia Nadim

“Im very happy for Nadia, if you look at her stats in Man City she managed to score 8 goals in quite few minutes of game time, so I would say her spell there was OK. PSG felt like the right move at this time, and the coach and the club really made an effort to get her to Paris, which we appreciated” Says Nadia’s agent Michael Kallback
