Sarina Wiegman names Netherlands squad to compete at the 2018 Algarve Cup.
Netherlands women’s national team head coach Sarina Wiegman has announced her squad that will participate in the Algarve Cup 2018.
The European champions have announced a 23-player squad to take part in the prestigious Algarve Cup tournament which gets underway at the end of the month.
Netherlands are in Group C alongside Japan, Denmark and Iceland. Their opening match fixture is against Japan on 28 February at the Estádio Municipal da Bela Vista, Parchal. On Friday 2 March, we get to watch a rematch of the UEFA Women’s Euro 2017 Final as the Netherlands and Denmark go head to head at the Complexo Desportivo de Vila Real de Santo António.
