New Zealand to play Spain and Japan pre World Cup Games
Thursday’s announcement comes after last week’s confirmation of a clash with the world number two United States side in April.
Football Ferns coach Tony Readings says the fixtures provide another excellent opportunity for his side to test their mettle on the eve of the tournament.
“We have lofty ambitions for the World Cup and these games give us another chance to measure ourselves against teams with the same mentality,” Readings said.
“With our game against the United States in April, these matches with Spain and Japan will ensure we are able to finalise our preparations against some of the strongest teams in world football.
