Nigerian international Ngozi Ebere signs for Paris Saint-Germain
French club PSG has announced the signing of Nigerian international Ngozi Ebere for two seasons.
The 24-year old player recently represented Nigeria at the FIFA Women’s World Cup 2015 in Canada in which the African nation earned 1 point from a very tough Group D.
Ngozi joins Paris Saint-Germain from Rivers Angels F.C. after choosing Paris as her first experience of playing abroad.
Ngozi Ebere commented on her new contract on the official PSG website (translated by Google): “I am here to give the best of myself and to win trophies. I am very motivated by this new challenge that awaits me here in Paris. It’s a dream come true. ”
Farid Benstiti, PSG head coach, welcomed the arrival (translated by Google): “Ebere is a Nigerian who plays left-back. It will be the complement of Laure Boulleau, which was much in demand during recent seasons. She has great potential and qualities that was shown in the last World Cup.
