Nikita Parris signs for Manchester City Women on a permanent basis.

Nikita Parris has committed her immediate future to Manchester City WFC by signing a two-year deal following a successful spell at the Academy Stadium.

The striker was on loan from Everton Ladies in January 2015, during which she scored 11 goals in her debut season with Nick Cushing’s MCWFC.

Man City WFC will be contesting four competitions this season – the FA Women’s Super League title, two cups (FA and Conti) and the UEFA Women’s Champions League.

The 21-year-old told mcfc.co.uk: “I’m so glad because here at City, I feel I’ve got a place I can call home. I love the people here – obviously I already knew Toni [Duggan] and Jill [Scott] – but I’ve also made new friends and the staff are lovely. It was an easy decision for me. I wanted to stay in WSL 1 and I didn’t want to go to any other club. Last season, City provided me with the opportunity to stay in the top division and I wanted to reward them with my full registration.”
