Northern Ireland get Turkish Cup campaign underway with 6-0 win.
Northern Ireland got their Turkish Cup campaign of to the best possible start with a 6-0 win over Jordan.
A hat-trick from Rachel Furness of Reading ,Simone Magill, Linfield’s Ashley Hutton and Motherwell captain Kerry Monters gave Alfie Wylie’s side the victory.
It was also a proud day for Magill and Cliftonville Ladies Captain Marissa Callaghan as they both won their 50th caps for their country an astonishing achievement and a credit to Women’s football in Northern Ireland.

It is a significant result for Northern as Jordan have picked up 7 wins in their 7 games and a lot of money has been invested into the women’s game in the country.
Game two is on Friday against France B at Gold City in Alanya followed by a third and final group game on Sunday against Kazakhstan at Hane in Side.
