Olympique Lyonnais beat PSG 3-2 in the exciting final of the Valais Women’s Cup.
The Final between the top two French clubs took place in Crans-Montana, Switzerland, 1,050 spectators watched the two rivals go head to head.
The Valais Women’s Cup Final was a closely fought contest and the deadlock wasn’t broken until the 48th minute in which Henry put Lyon ahead.
Paris Saint-Germain responded well and Asllani scored the equaliser just 8 minutes later before Ada Hegerberg quickly restored the lead for Lyon on the hour mark.
There was drama in injury time as Caroline Seger got the later equaliser for PSG which would surely take the final to a penalty shoot-out. Hegerberg responded quickly again for Lyon, scoring the match winner in the 90+3′ minute!
