Defending champion Brazil will open the women’s tournament with their match against Argentina, while Canada will play Costa Rica, Mexico will play Chile and Trinidad & Tobago will play Colombia.

Mexico again tops Group A, along with Colombia, Trinidad and Chile, while Group B consists of Argentina, Brazil, Canada and Costa Rica.

Group games will be staged on alternate days, finishing on October 22nd 2011

The women’s semi-finals will be played October 25 with the finals (championship and bronze-medal match) two days later on Thursday 27th.

All matches will be played on the artificial surface at the two-year-old, 50,000 capacities Omnilife Stadium in Guadalajara, Mexico, home to Chivas de Guadalajara.
