Patrice Lair is the new coach for Paris Saint-Germain
Paris Saint-Germain is delighted to announce the arrival of Patrice Lair to the post of coach of the women’s team. This Thursday, at the headquarters of the Club, the French coach has signed a contract of two years duration with an optional additional year.
He will lead the team with his staff upon the resumption of training, in July.
Become a national and European reference in the world of women’s football, Patrice Lair (54) has won many trophies as a coach, with Montpellier HSC and with Olympique Lyonnais.
He has hoisted the Lyon team on the roof of Europe with 2 consecutive win in the UEFA Women’s Champions League (2011 and 2012) while leading the training for the conquest of 4 titles of France Champion consecutive (2011 to 2014) or to an unprecedented treble in 2012 (Champions League, Championship, Cup France). In recent years, Patrice Lair held a women’s football Advisor to Louis Nicollin, president of Montpellier HSC.
The mission assigned by the Paris Saint Germain Patrice Lair is to continue the path initiated 5 years now by the new shareholders of the Club and lead the team to domestic and European summits in the wake of his status as runner-d Europe in 2014-2015.
