Danish international Pernille Harder signs for VfL Wolfsburg
VfL Wolfsburg has announced the signing of Pernille Harder from Swedish club Linköpings FC.
One of the most talented offensive players currently competing today, Pernille Harder will join the DFB Cup holders on 1 January 2017.
Harder is an excellent addition to the squad and will bring strength in front of goal. The announcement comes not long after Swiss international Ramona Bachmann left VfL Wolfsburg for Chelsea Ladies.
“With the commitment of Pernille Harder, we are reacting to the change of Ramona Bachmann,” said Wolfsburg coach Ralf Kellermann. “Pernille has proved in the Swedish league and the Danish national team what qualities she has in front of the goal and she will be an absolute asset for our offensive game.”
“The VfL Wolfsburg is the perfect club for me, it is a very professional club with one of the best teams in Europe and the world, with the change I make the next step in my development I hope we can further develop football. ” said Pernille Harder.
