PSG and Lyon to contest UEFA Women’s Champions League Final

It’s the battle of the French clubs as Paris Saint-Germain and Olympique Lyonnais go head to head in theUEFA Women’s Champions League Final!

PSG earned a 2-0 home win against FC Barcelona in the second leg of their UEFA Women’s Champions League Semi-final, making it 5-1 on aggregate, to book their place in Cardiff!.

A record crowd of over 19,000 saw the French club secure the victory, thanks to goals for PSG which came from a Sabrina Delannoy’s penalty and a Miriam Diéguez own goal.

Lyon were defeated 1-0 courtesy of a Carli Lloyd 57th minute goal in the second leg of their semi-final tie, but it was not enough for the competition debutants, Man City, to advance as Lyon won 3-2 on aggregate and will meet French club rivals PSG in the Final on 1 June!

The UEFA Women’s Champions League Final will take place in Cardiff on 1 June.
