Groups confirmed for the Rio 2016 Olympic women’s football competition.
The draw for the Rio 2016 Olympic Games women’s football tournament took place today to determine the groups at this summer’s competition.
To draw was held at the Maracana on Thursday 14 April which saw 12 women’s football teams being drawn into three groups of four.
Rio 2016 Olympic Women’s Football Groups
Group E: Brazil, China PR, Sweden, South Africa
Group F: Canada, Australia, Zimbabwe, Germany
Group G: USA, New Zealand, France, Colombia
