Race for Road to Cameroon 2016 heats up
The race to the 10th edition Africa Women Cup of Nations, Cameroon 2016 heats up with three matches on the cards in the first leg of the second round qualifiers kick off on Wednesday 6 April.
Tunisia will host Ghana at Stade Oued Ellil stadium with the continent’s representatives in the Olympics Zimbabwe entertaining neighbours Zambia at the Rufaro Stadium in Harare.
Mali will face off Equitorial Guinea in another match at the Stade Mamadou Konate in Bamako.
On Thursday 7 April, Egypt will host Code d’Ivoire in another fixture. On Friday 8, Senegal will play against Nigeria at Stade Demba Diop in Dakar while Algeria will play Kenya at Bologhine Stadium in Algiers.
Olympic bound South Africa will play against neighbours Botswana at Lobaste Sports Complex Stadium in Lobatse.
The second leg will return on Sunday 10 April with the winners to join hosts, Cameroon in the final tournament set for 19 November to 3 December in Yaunde and Limbe.
