Women’s International Challenge Match
Germany v Scotland
Saturday 15 June 2013, kick-off 3.30pm (local time)
Stadion Essen, Essen, Germany
Anna Signeul has named her squad for next week’s match against Europe’s top women’s side, Germany, in Essen.
Scotland go into the match on the back of a 3-2 friendly win over Iceland in Reykjavik last weekend.
Hibernian midfielder Caroline Weir keeps her place in the squad, after winning her first senior cap in the win over Iceland.
The surroundings will be familiar for Emma Mitchell, who signed for Frauen-Bundesliga side SGS Essen earlier this year, as the match will be played at her home stadium.
Striker Suzanne Grant will miss the remainder of this year’s matches, after announcing that she is expecting her first baby.
Defenders Rachael Small (hamstring) and Rhonda Jones (work commitments) again miss out, while Rachel Corsie, Ifeoma Dieke and Emma Fernon remain on the long-term injury list.
