In advance of the 2014 NWSL season, which kicks off April 13, Seattle Reign FC hosted a special kit reveal on the roof of Seattle’s iconic Space Needle.
Reign FC unveiled the club’s re-designed goalkeeper, away and home jerseys, as well as a new anthem jacket. Goalkeeper Hayley Kopmeyer, midfielder Keelin Winters, defenders Carm Moscato, Kate Deines, and Amanda Frisbie, along with forwards Naho and Bev Goebel were on hand to model the new uniforms.
Seattle’s head coach and general manger, Laura Harvey introduced the new bold kits, which include a white on white away kit, black on black home kit, and gray and white keeper kit.
“We’re excited to unveil the new kit for our supporters,” Harvey said. “We worked closely with our partners at Nike and asked the players for their input and the resulting uniform is something we’re definitely proud of.”
Reign FC’s new kits are scheduled to debut tomorrow during the team’s preseason friendly against the University of Washington.
Supporters will have their first opportunity to purchase the new kits at Reign FC’s home opener on Sunday, April 13.
