Seattle Reign FC unveils new 2015 kits at Chihuly Garden
In advance of the 2015 NWSL season, which kicks off April 12, Seattle Reign FC hosted a special kit reveal party at Seattle’s Chihuly Garden and Glass yesterday.
Reign FC unveiled the club’s new away jersey, their first “alternative” kit, and a new, pre-match “anthem” jacket. Goalkeeper Hayley Kopmeyer, defenders Stephanie Cox and Lauren Barnes, midfielders Mariah Noguiera and Kim Little, along with forwards Merritt Mathias and Beverly Yanez were on hand to model the new uniforms.
Moda Health, Reign FC’s original presenting sponsor, will return for the 2015 season and were in attendance to help kick off the big reveal. Moda’s logo will be featured across the front of all kits and the goalkeeper jersey.
Seattle’s head coach and general manger Laura Harvey introduced the new kits, which include an away kit in white, royal blue and platinum, and an dynamic alternate kit – called UltraViolet – that fuses an eye-piercing shade of yellow with a commanding, regal purple. UltraViolet is finished with a unique, two-color rendition of the Reign FC shield in Platinum and Midnight Black.
“We are excited to unveil the new kits for our supporters,” Harvey said. “As always, it was great working with Nike to create the new kits. They really understand our brand and have helped craft kits that reflect the unique nature of our club.”
Supporters interested in purchasing the new kits today can visit www.reignfcshop.com or can purchase them in person on Saturday, April 12 at the 2015 season home opener against the Western New York Flash.
