After a talk with DFB president Dr Theo Zwanziger and the DFB general secretary Wolfgang Niersbach in headquarters, Silvia Neid has decided to fulfill her contract runs until 2016 and thus to train in the future, the German women’s national team.
Silvia Neid said: “After the disappointing for me retiring from the World Cup, I needed a few days to think about. The keen interest of my team and the confidence that I Zwanziger, DFB President and Secretary General Dr. Wolfgang Niersbach have personally spoken once were, for me to continue the decisive drive. I look forward to the next challenge. “
General Secretary Wolfgang Niersbach said: “It is a good decision for women’s football, that Silvia Neid continues her work as national coach, and we are confident that they will approach with high motivation, the next big goal Championship 2013 in Sweden.”
