Spedag FC set the pace for 2015

After a long break, Kenyan Women Premier League headed to Eldoret at Marura Primary and University of Eldoret where the second leg of the league continued in February.

Spedag FC emerged victorious with 9 points after defeating Soccer Sisters, Thika Queens and Soccer Queens with a total of 7 goals. Despite the fewer goals by Makolanders they attained 9 points that they tirelessly worked for. In their battle with Oserian Ladies, Karemi converted an indirect free kick into an outstanding goal that proved to be crucial as the only goal in the game. This brought to a conclusion the Oserian unbeaten record.

Manju an intimidating forward for Makolanders and MVP of the weekend, proved to be too troublesome for Oserian defense but all her efforts were thwarted by Eunice Chepoisho (Oserian GK). It was a successful weekend with more than a half of registered teams turn out.
