Swansea City Ladies will be flying to America this summer as part of their pre-season tour.
Founded in 2001, Swansea City Ladies AFC currently play in the Welsh Women’s Premier League. Since then, the club has won two WPWL titles, five South Wales Women’s League titles, three SSL Cups and two FAW Women’s Cups! They have also made UEFA Women’s Champions League appearances.

They will then head to the Garden State where they will face Jersey United Spartans, PDA (Player Development Academy) Soccer and New Jersey Copa FC and it’s an opportunity that all are relishing.
Swansea City Ladies’ manager Ian Owen said: “Everyone is extremely excited about our preseason tour to New Jersey,”
Midfielder Katy Hosford says: “As a team, we are looking forward to this great opportunity to travel to America and compete in three high standard games,” – “I am personally looking forward to this test and challenging myself against some of the top players,” the Welsh under-19 international continued.
The pre-season tour schedule will run from 19 – 27 June 2016.
Tuesday 21 June 2016 – vs. Jersey United Spartans at Morristown Beard School
