Sweden’s last preparation match before Euro 2013 is a meeting against Brazil in Stockholm on Wednesday 19th June at 17:45 CET.

 

Pia Sundhage has included youngsters Marija Banusic and Lina Hurtig in her squad who have both been involved in the U-19 European Championship finals.Sundhage says the pair break the mould and has given them the opportunity to shine and earn a place at Euro 2013.

 

Brazil Women’s National Team has been showing great signs of progress under coach Márcio de Oliveira; earlier this year they drew against France on two meetings. The Brazilian squad have been involved in training camps at Granja Comary.

    Brazil are struggling to work as a team, like you said Sebastian, some young talented players but they were trying to do too much on their own..

    Very unnecessary PK for the Brazilians…the corner went well above all in the PK area, and Göransson and Rosana saw the ball sailing over them. If Göransson just had let Rosana run for it, the danger would have vanished. Instead she hold onto Rosana’s shirt, and down she went. It was a PK, nothing to say about that, but what a wasted opportunity to win this game. Brazil need to step up to be a world class nation again…
