Today’s Cup Final between Göteborg FC and Tyresö FF will go down in history as one of the most thrilling women’s match played in Sweden. At full time the score was 1-1. Kirsten van de Ven then gave Tyresö a 2-1 lead at the end of the first quarter of extra time. Gothenburg’s Olivia Schough equalized five minutes from the end to set up penalties, in which Göteborg FC won 5 – 4.
