    I wanted DiCicco or Swanson instead of Sermanni. DiCicco is tried and tested, no question about it. Swanson’s coaching of the U-20 women’s is impressive. Especially the finals against Germany where they stopped Lotzen, Marozsan and Maier from scoring, something the senior team (case of Marozsan) was having problems doing. Plus they are both from the US so one more advantage.

    I was not impressed by any standard of Sermanni’s coaching of the Matilda’s during the friendlies. Oh well, I guess he’s here to stay. Let’s just hope he gets the job done.
