Following their recent Algarve Cup 2013 Championship win in Portugal, the USWNT will travel to Germany and the Netherlands for friendly matches in April 2013.

 

USWNT Head Coach Tom Sermanni has announced a 23-Player roster to travel to Europe and compete against two sides who are preparing for this summer’s UEFA European Women’s Championship in Sweden.

 

USA will play Germany (for the second time in 23 days) on Friday 5th April 2013 at Sparda Bank Hessen Stadium in Offenbach, home of Kickers Offenbach in the German Third Division. Kickoff is set for 6:15pm local time (12:15pm ET).

 

They will then travel to The Hague at Kyocera Stadium, home of ADO Den Haag of the Dutch Eredivisie, and face the Netherlands on Tuesday 9th April 2013 at 7pm local time (1pm ET).

 

USA are without injured Carli Lloyd who is recovering from a broken shoulder and goalkeepers Hope Solo and Jill Loyden are both rehabilitating from wrist and hand surgeries.

    Nice to see that Christen Press has earned herself a place liked her a lot in Göteborg last year and she can develop even more.
