Result of the FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup draw.

The draw for the 2018 FIFA Under-20 Women’s World Cup took place today which put hosts France against Ghana, New Zealand and the Netherlands.

The U20WWC group draw took place at Rennes Opera House on Thursday 8 March, International Women’s Day.

Defending champions Korea DPR were drawn to Group B alongside England, Mexico and Brazil, while the tournament hosts France will face Ghana, New Zealand and the Netherlands in Group A. France and Ghana will be the opening match in Vannes on 5 August.

The draw was made by Sarai Bareman, FIFA’s Chief Women’s Football Officer, and Rhiannon Martin, FIFA’s Senior Competitions Manager, with the assistance of former France international Camille Abily, Mikael Silvestre, Damien Seguin and Aela Mocaer.

FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup 2018 host towns are Vannes, Concarneau, Saint-Malo and Dinan/Léhon.
