The USWNT have not been beaten since 5th March 2012, where they were defeated by the World Champions Nadeshiko Japan at the Algarve Cup in Portugal.

Since that defeat, the USWNT have gone on to win the Olympic Gold, followed by a successful fan tribute tour, became Algarve Cup 2013 champions,  competed in many International friendlies and they have yet to find an opponent who can end their unbeaten streak.

Out of the 31 matches played, USA have won 27 and tied four times, during which they have scored 94 goals.

In last night’s international friendly,  the U.S. Women’s National Team earned a comprehensive 3-1 win against the Netherlands as midfielder Tobin Heath opened the scoring in the 36th minute before Christen Press, who started at forward, nabbed goals in the 45th and 60th minutes to seal the victory. Manon Melis scored a consolation goal with 11 minutes left for the Netherlands. Watch match highlights.

The next match for USA is the exciting rematch against rivals Canada! They meet in Toronto on 2nd June 2013.
