The USWNT beat Japan 2-1 at Wembley Stadium on Thursday 9th August 2012. When the Olympic gold medallists’ return to their home country they will take part in victory tour matches.

 

The first fixture is against Costa Rica on Saturday 1st September 2012. The venue will be Sahlen’s Stadium in Rochester NY, which is the home town of  USWNT forward Abby Wambach. 

 

The second leg of the victory tour will take place on Sunday 16th September 2012 at The Home Depot Center in Carson, Calif against Australia Matildas at 12:30 (PT).

 

Both these matches will be broadcast live on NBC!

For the game in Rochester, tickets go on sale to the general public Friday, Aug. 17, at 10 a.m. ET through ussoccer.com, by calling 1-800-745-3000, at all Rochester area Ticketmaster ticket centers (including Walmart stores) and the Sahlen’s Stadium ticket office (open Monday-Friday, 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. ET; Saturday, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. ET). Requests for the game in Rochester are limited to eight tickets each. For the match in Carson, tickets go on sale to the general public Friday, Aug. 17, at 10 a.m. PT through ussoccer.com, by calling 1-888-929-7849, and at The Home Depot Center ticket office (open Monday-Friday, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. PT).

The USWNT will play Australia a second time at 8 p.m. MT/ 9 p.m. CT/ 10 p.m. ET on Wednesday, Sept. 19, at Dick’s Sporting Goods Park in Commerce City, Colo. (Live on ESPN2 & ESPN3)

    Watching the US Men vs. Mexico, and Ian Darke announced the USWNT will play Australia again in Denver, it will be on ESPN (or ESPN 2) September 19th, 3 days after the play in LA on NBC.
