The US Women’s National Team head coach Pia Sundhage has named 27 players for a training camp in Florida from April 18th-30th to prepare for London 2012 Olympics.
Pia Sundhage will use this training camp to evaluate the 27 players and eventually select an 18 player roster that will compete in the London 2012 Olympics.
During the two week training the team will undergo intense training and focus on their next full International match which is against China on 27th May 2012. Over 9,000 tickets have been sold for this match so far!
All 23 players that competed at the recent Kirin Challenge Cup in Japan have been featured in Pia Sundhage’s selection

Yea, exactly! I realize I left out Pinoe. She is good too but got very little match time in recent matches…a sub as compared to being a starter.
Such a tough choice! Every one of these players will be desperate to be selected to compete at the London 2012 Olympics. I would take Morgan without a doubt, she always gives 100%, has fantastic pace and scores a lot of goals.
