The Austria Arena in Vienna will host 2020 UEFA Women’s Champions League Final.
UEFA has today announced that the Austria Arena in Vienna has been chosen to host the 2020 UEFA Women’s Champions League final.
The decision was made at today’s UEFA Executive Committee meeting in Kyiv, ahead of the 2017/18 UEFA Women’s Champions League Final between Olympique Lyonnais and VfL Wolfsburg which takes place at Valeriy Lobanovskyi Stadium tonight.
The Austria Arena is home of the 24-time domestic champions Austria Wien.
The 2020 UEFA Women’s Champions League will mark the first major UEFA final held at the Austria Arena, and will also be the first time a UEFA Women’s Champions League decider has been played in Vienna.
The 2019 UWCL Final will be staged at Budapest’s Ferencváros Stadium, this will be the first time after nine years that the women’s final will have its own separate venue from the men’s competition.
