The Washington Spirit and Portland Thorns FC draw 1 – 1 on Wednesday night in front of 3,854 fans at Maureen Hendricks Field at the Maryland SoccerPlex in Boyds, Md. Alex Morgan opened the scoring in the eighth minute, scoring her third goal in the last four games, but Washington Spirit’s forward Jodie Taylor scored the equalizer in the 68th minute of the match.
