Watford FC Ladies announce appointment of new Head Coach Keith Boanas
The FA Women’s Super League 2 club Watford FC Ladies have confirmed the appointment of new Head Coach Keith Boanas.
Keith Boanas is a UEFA Pro Licence holder who brings a wealth of coaching experience at club and international level, most notably Charlton Athletic WFC and eight years as Women’s National Team Manager & Technical Director for the Estonian FA.
Watford FC Ladies will play at Kings Langley FC on Sunday February 26, with a 2pm kick-off scheduled for the visit of London Bees, as part of a ‘Spring Series’ half-year season that will see the women’s game return to a winter fixture cycle from Autumn 2017.
Watford conceded last weekend’s SSE Women’s FA Cup tie to Doncaster Rovers Belles in order to ensure necessary preparations ahead of the start of the league fixture programme.
