There are rumors of a new women’s club competition. According to Sports Hochi,

Here is a suggested competition that is wholly dependent on women’s club teams: Olympique Lyonnais Féminin (the European defending champions), Japan’s Nadeshiko League winners, Canberra United FC (the W-League champions), and the WK-League winners. The WK-League has been run by the Korea Women’s Football League since the 2009 season. This competition is scheduled to be held in Japan either in November or in December, 2012. According to Sports Hochi, both of Olympique Lyonnais Féminin and Canberra United FC currently demonstrate a forward-looking stance on the “Women’s Club World Cup.” The details, such as schedule, location, and sponsors, will come later.

The video of Urawa vs. Kobe is ready.

You may enjoy the match, or not. You may like the play-style, or not. You may agree to some refereeing, or disagree. But I plead with you to remember one thing. Urawa’s young players, left by their elders all at sudden, trapped in the ill streak who knows how long-lasting, did everything they could to stand the relentless assault by the champion. Their play may look mediocre, because that’s all they can do now. Still, the mighty INAC, who trounced the team of Miyama and Fukumoto by 7-0 only 3 weeks ago, scored only by PK before the stoppage time.

I was at the Canberra vs Brisbane final this year. Canberra united constitute a well deserved inclusion in this competition.
