Nadeshiko League October 25
Albirex Niigata 1 – 2 NTV Beleza
Niigata: 59’ Marumi Yamazaki
NTV: 43’ Mina Tanaka, 90+4’ Mizuho Sakaguchi
Attendance: 1,724
Shots: Niigata 4 – 13 NTV
Corners: Niigata 0 – 7 NTV
Elfen Saitama 1 – 1 Yunogo Belle
Saitama: 23’ Sarah Gregorius
Yunogo: 90+2’ Elizabeth Eddy
Attendance: 578
Shots: Saitama 10 – 11 Yunogo
Corners: Saitama 7 – 8 Yunogo
Only two weeks ago Aya Miyama scored an equalizer goal at 90+3’ to change a defeat to a draw. Today Elizabeth Eddy scored another equalizer at 90+2’ to save the struggling team. One more interesting fact: one of the eleven shots by Yunogo Belle is by the goalkeeper, Miho Fukumoto, made in the second half. Perhaps she left her own goal far behind in a desperate attempt to change defeat to draw which was eventually achieved by the new American import.
