Now it’s more NTV than Kobe who is in danger of competing in the lower group for the second stage. Having lost Kiryu is not enough to explain this disappointment. It is, after all, a precarious strategy to rely so much on the teenagers? Okayama-Yunogo is doing well. It’s hard to believe now they had only 9 players a few months ago.

      Thank you Ken.
It is surprising to see Kobe and NTV in their current league positions, Kobe is a little more expected due to the players that left. I thought this would have been a perfect opportunity for NTV to have taken advantage of.

I guess both INAC Kobe and NTV Beleza miscalculated to believe they are OK if their star players (Naho, Bev, Kiryu) rejoin them for the second stage in which the upper 6 teams of the first stage will have a fresh start to compete for the championship. Neither of them suspected they could end up among the lower 4 teams. Even if Kobe is barely floating for now above the partition line (between 6th and 7th in table) their lack of depth in squad is dangerously small. Losing a key player or two to injury and they are out.

When will Kibi win their first victory … or, will they ever?
