UEFA European Women’s Under-19 Championship elite round draw seedings.
The seedings for the elite round draw of the UEFA European Women’s Under-19 Championship has been confirmed.
The 22 teams that progressed from the UEFA European Women’s Under-19 Championship qualifying round have joined the top seeds in the pots for the elite round draw, scheduled to take place at 11.00CET on Friday 13 November.
The sides will be drawn into six groups of four teams, no country can meet a nation that they played in the qualifying round.
UEFA European Women’s Under-19 Championship elite round pots:
Pot A: Spain, England, Switzerland, France, Germany, Finland
Pot B: Sweden (holders), Russia, Denmark, Azerbaijan, Scotland, Netherlands
Pot C: Italy, Norway, Portugal, Belarus, Republic of Ireland, Austria
Pot D: Belgium, Poland, Hungary, Czech Republic, Greece, Northern Ireland
The draw will take place on Friday 13 November be held at at 11.00CET.
The 2016/17 WU19 EURO qualifying round draw will also be made at 09.55CET, together with the corresponding draws for the WU17 EURO.
Fixtures will be scheduled for 5, 7, 10 April. The six group winners and the runner-up with the best record against the teams first and third in their pool qualify to join hosts Slovakia in the finals from 19 to 31 July 2016.
