Seedings confirmed for FIFA Women’s World Cup 2019 preliminary round draw
16 teams are involved in the 2019 FIFA Women’s World Cup preliminary round draw on Thursday 19 January 2017, streamed live on UEFA at 13:30CET.
As hosts of the finals tournament, France gain automatic entry to the 24-team main event, 30 of the highest-ranked sides in the UEFA Women’s National Team Coefficient Rankings progress straight to the qualifying group stage.
The remaining 16 entrants who are involved in Thursday’s preliminary round draw must play in April for the remaining five berths.

Faroe Islands – seeding position 2
Georgia – seeding position 3
Lithuania – seeding position 3
Pot 2 (seeding position 4)

Pot 4 (seeding position 2)

The four mini-tournaments will be played on 6, 8 and 11 April, with the section winners and the runner-up with the best record against the sides first and third in their section progressing to the qualifying group stage draw on 25 April.
