Japanese international Yukari Kinga signs for Canberra United
Australian Westfield W-League club Canberra United have signed Yukari Kinga on loan from Japanese club side INAC Kobe Leonessa.
The Japanese international plays as a defensive midfielder, the experienced 32-year old has earned 100 caps for her country and scored five goal.
Yukari Kinga was part of the Japan squad who won the FIFA Women’s World Cup in 2011 and took home a silver medal at the London 2012 Olympic Games.
Among Kinga’s personal achievements is being named in the Japanese League Team of the Year on six occasions.
