Zambia Women’s National Football team prepare for the African Women’s Championship 2014

Zambia Women’s National Team head coach Charles Bwale has announced his squad to compete at the African Women’s Championship 2014.

To prepare for the crucial FIFA Women’s World Cup 2015 qualifying tournament Zambia hosted South Africa and Cameroon in friendly matches in Lusaka. Cameroon defeated Zambia 4-0 whilst South Africa won 2-0 in their first meeting and earned a goalless draw in their second meeting at the beginning of the month.

Zambia are in Group A at the 2014 African Women’s Championship, alongside hosts Namibia, Nigeria and Cote d’Ivoire. View the TN Mobile 9th African Women’s Championship Groups.
